I wouldn't put AoC in the same category as those two. It was player hyped before hand, but it didn't have he same expectations, since only the old D&Ders are Conan fans. Warhammer and Star Wars are easy layups. They just needed to make an average game for them to do well, they couldn't even do that. I'd rate Star Trek Online with those two now.

Mythic just closed their online store. That's a big red flag.

And latest MMORPG standings have WAR in sixth place...behind Age of Conan. Yes, Age of Conan.

I liked AoC better than any game I've tried in the last couple of years (AoC, WAR, Darkfall, Aion). It had huge problems but sometimes, just sometimes, you got a glimmer of something great pvp-wise. We had some really good fights in that game, unfortunately that only happened about 5-10% of the time and never at a siege.
